You are asking for a loan on your equity, what the banks want to know is how you plan on paying them back with your low income!

Do you think they will look at your assets of WAMUQ stocks and value it at $20 a share?

Only sure way to get your equity out is to SELL your house but I assume that is a no win solution either.
