Sure, real companies issue PRs that say they may consider a buyback so they can get their stock trading higher before the buyback so they can spend MORE money, pleeeeze!

Not saying they will live up to their word and actually execute a buyback, but the law does state that a company has to make their buyback intentions known to the public BEFORE they buy their first share.
