Nope - not true! Lots of CEO's have blogs. Sorry, you are wrong.

Just stating you are going to China on business does not require a PR and is not against any rules.

But, for longs...I read this as really good potential news!

Not if you are using facebook as a means to get the word out on the benefits of cord blood banking. This information may actually end up giving CBAI lots of new storage business as information passes on via facebook. It's a smart move on his part to partake in newer technologies to get the word out. It's simply marketing his business and there is nothing illegal about it.

CEO posting on Facebook is EXTREMELY unprofessional conduct.

or a progressive move toward transparency.

down side: seagulls have crapped all over the page recently, and CBAI has addressed that.

not at all. in fact Matt mentioned Facebook and
Twitter as a way of attracting new investors
early last year and it worked. the fact that
he's going to China is no secret, and it is not
insider information. i think it's a good way to
let people know what he's doing without having
to release a PR without it being actual news.

If I am not mistaken, this Facebook post was on his PERSONAL page, not the CBAI page. That's not exactly unprofessional. I post things that I am doing that may or may not be business related on my personal page - only my friends see that information.

Did you personally see it on Facebook?
