Not if you are using facebook as a means to get the word out on the benefits of cord blood banking. This information may actually end up giving CBAI lots of new storage business as information passes on via facebook. It's a smart move on his part to partake in newer technologies to get the word out. It's simply marketing his business and there is nothing illegal about it.

not at all. in fact Matt mentioned Facebook and Twitter as a way of attracting new investors early last year and it worked. the fact that he's going to China is no secret, and it is not insider information. i think it's a good way to let people know what he's doing without having to release a PR without it being actual news.
If I am not mistaken, this Facebook post was on his PERSONAL page, not the CBAI page. That's not exactly unprofessional. I post things that I am doing that may or may not be business related on my personal page - only my friends see that information.
