Poke...I find it interesting you would post this new factoid, in your opinion, which suddenly after posting here for almost 4 years, you decide to bring up? Why at this late date?

respectfully, you miss the point. Each Stratellite cell "tower in the sky" will REPLACE the many clusters on the ground. Line of site. Get it?

poke your absolutely right. The cell system could not be done by "stratelite". If you think back five years ago we discovered that the FCC had set aside frequencies for lower level communications, they obviously envisioned a competing network. I can't remember exactly where in the spectrum it was but it was very high, below 20 gighertz.
