Many have spoken of the possibilities of someone building a da Vinci, and most people agree that with ISRG's multi-year lead in the sector and constantly increasing R&D budget, that this poses no fears.

MY impression is that China and Japan are not the only markets ISRG hopes to penetrate, in addition to its quickly growing american presence.
