I called the number you posted and left a message. When I get a return call I'll post the results.

I also did a little research and found a timber company in Nicaragua, Maderas Sostenibles. I gave them a call and a man, (whose name I forgot to write down, sorry) was nice enough to spend some time talking with me. According to him the remaining time window for extracting the fallen timber from Felix was about two more years. He indicated after that time there would began to be concerns about the condition of any remaining fallen timber. I also gathered from him that the extracting time had been slower than expected. Or as he put it; "extracting lumber from the jungle has been harder than expected." But he did say there was now no shortage of companies extracting the timber. He also indicated while he did not know any specifics, he knew there were companies who had come in to broker wood. While I have no way of knowing for sure, xynh could be one of those companies. jmo
