robjer, I don't necessarily only a value a poster if he's long, but i wouldn't strongly disagree that statement either.

The earlier context however uses value in terms of placing a worth on the information, measuring whether or not the information is useful (or perhaps something like a smokescreen for instance). That was the point there.
