Market Makers do the buying. Believe it or not, the MMs do most of the buying and live off the various tenths of a penny spread. They have minimal transactions costs and I think some days they are the only buyers. I have Schwab's StreetSmartPro with level two access but most of the MMs don't reveal their entire "book" so the true supply and demand is very well masked. I'm sure both the company through a Shill broker and the MMs play the price during the day with their 500 shr "trades". We need substantial PRs to create real demand,.... but......the dilution will be heavy for a long time.
