Alpha, I've been admiring your posts and I see you are rather new here. Perhaps you can offer some insight into Mr. Leinwand's corporate past.

TIA

Absoulutely not all the time.....but I'll bet a great percentage of the time that happens. I'd say that usually, at least someone who is in a management position gets interviewed.

Is Leinwand still in management? According to the interviewer, he's a "team member".

Gotcha Sucka

The CEO is the face and voice of the company, or should be. Only in the largest of companies might we hear from a VP or COO. In my company, a public company with a cap level of several billion dollars, we are still a small company and it's always the CEO doing the interviews.

It's very telling that in recent media outings, the Sanswire CEO is nowhere to be found. This really only happens when the company is trying to mitigate the potential damage of an embarassing CEO. The dude sounded drunk on that stupid webcast they did a few months ago. I thought I was listening to Foster Brooks on a Dean Martin roast. He's proven himself to be a worthless moron and a huge embarrasment. I'm sure he's being prevented from media opportunities by the other guys in the company.

A few weeks ago they had that other moron Erberg giving quotes to a scientific journal, and now Leinwad appearing on Canadian TV, like the Canadians don't have enough problems, and he's not even an officer or director. Next they'll have that old goat who works in the office on the cover of Goat Fancy magazine.

My point is.. get someone credible and mediagenic.
