It's less to chew up when the buying pressure comes in. We could see the float get absorbed within a day or two on great news and when that happens and we still have demand for shares the pps climbs to entice selling but it can rocket quickly.
I agree that less float makes the price of the shares go up. The less shares the higher the price, But from what I've read, thats not always good in the long run because the non public shares are for insiders as bonus, salaries and such. I was just reading a site (investopedia)that says the lower the float the more volatile the stock is. I could be taking it the wrong way and hope I am. I have a bit invested in this and hope it flies. It has some great things coming down the line. I am open to anyone who could explain why i'm reading this wrong.
