I personally have no problem with those OPEN about their intentions. I do have a problem with those that FLIP their POSTING positions (pro one day and negative the next) in order to try and sway others so they can take advantage of potential swings.
No reason to apologize for your own investing strategy. Stocks are meant to be sold eventually and some do so on a quicker time table. In the end, each person makes their own decision on when to buy and sell and it is only that person who has to live with it. So good luck no matter what you decide to do and how to do it.
