...and it can all be overruled by a judge. The sec likes to think it has more power than it does, but they also don't exercise their power everywhere they can...how paradoxical.

Re: post 5061 -- From my understanding it has to be a pretty aggress offence for the SEC to prohibit an attorney from appearing before it's commission. But I'm not sure the SEC has that much pull, being the circumstance maybe that the attorney and the SEC just do not gee-haw. For the ABA to take such drastic actions as you suggest it would have to be pretty bad. Most times the parties just shake hands, call each other an ah, and go their separate ways.

Re: post 5095 -- Who's talking about unregistered securities? Not me!? What's the crime in offering "tradable" shares to sale? If someone is giving tradable shares to someone else to sale -- where's the conspiracy? What's the crime?

All this speculation does is make for a great soap opera drama.
