I wish I had more time this evening to go through and find some links for you that might help with your questions. Believe me, I've read all the PR's and SEC filings before I took a nice position here a couple months back. A few things I can suggest quickly are to go to the company home page link on this page and look under the research tab. Alot of great information on the product, not only related to the feed industry but other applications as well. Half a billion dollar china feed industy that could use this product and only costs 10 bucks per ton to treat the feed. High profit margins. It just makes sense to me.
There are links to PR's as well that help explain the patents and licenses with other countries for the product. Honeslty I'm not sure what value to place on the licenses to other countries at this point but I doubt they would be pursued, especially in advance of Chinese approval, if they had no merit at all. My basis for promoting the value of the product is in China alone however at this point. Nice feasibilty report on the site as well that shows the cost savings involved for China farmers who may chose to have their feed treated fwiw.
If you read their 10k from the spring you will see the patents listed. I can't swear there's no competition out there, but I'm not sure why the China Academy of Agriculture and Sciences would sponsor this study, if there was another better choice. From my experience, if a Government helps sponsor or research a product jointly, then that product will likely take the majority of market share in that industy. JMHO though.
Another quick thing I noticed from the last Q report was the company is due to launch their Levocarnitine product in Pakistan in January. That could be very good news as well. Actually quite a good bit information on their other products that they even hope to distribute in the US such as their "Bi Thin" weight loss tablets.
Not trying to pump or encourage anyone to hold shares for forever or anything like that. Just like what I see here. GL
