The benefits of owning shares in the Private company would be cash dividends and/or when the private entity goes public at a much higher PPS.

Getting the ETC dividend shares is a long term play. You may be able to sell them in a private transaction at a price based on the value of the company any given quarter, but the real pay day will come if ETC goes public, and that could take years.
