TDA and ST still allow the selling of the stock and that is where the majority of the shares are held. If people want something bad enough they will figure out ways to go around the obstacles that are blocking their way IMO...you can still transfer an account from one broker to the next (at least that was what someone had said Etrade told them they could do)...
