i agree with your entire post. actually, i remember the 250k number mentioned as well. i remember the figure because i was thinking, "yeah right". with females getting in free, there was no way they could reach anywhere near that. imo, this thing is skidding to a halt. mark can't dilute because there are no buyers. mikp is not making enough money to pay for salaries, or eventually, rent. unless mikp finds some mm's to make this run, mikp is short lived. problem is, with the sec so close, no mm's want to touch this. maybe horse will be the next paranormal......

Sigh. This elusive '$250,000 profit projection by Mark' email/post never existed. Only in your posts are there specific references/speculation to potential profits on the PDiddy event. There is/was no such email from Mark to me. He only stated ticket price ranges, capacity potential and estimated revs from other gigs at the same venue. That's it.

Last nights show was a sellout? Sorry not really paying attention. Is this the p-diddy promotion of a promotion deal? Just curious does anyone know what percentage of that was 40.00 ticketmaster sales? Technically the clubs capacity is only 800, if ticketmaster sold their full 500 @ $40, that leaves 300 door tickets @ $60. Previous posts stated that MTP gets the full share of the door, that leads me to believe they get none of the ticketmaster sales. So an 18,000 dollar gross? If they get the full price at the door, what costs were incurred to achieve that? They have to be paying for something here. A previous post included an e-mail from Mark stating this event had a 240-250 thousand dollar profit potential? And the way it was worded led me believe that that would be the profit in one night. The whole revolving door thing. Im sorry im having a little trouble with the math here, but I see no way you could honestly say this thing will profit anywhere near that.

Update from Mark.

1) as soon as Ticketmaster processes everything on their end--should be shortly ;)

2) first 500 tickets will be at $40 - there will be a cut line at the door for an additional $20 and the price at the door will more likely range from $75-$150.

The club has a legal capacity of 2500+ and at an event like this there will also be somewhat of a revolving door with the ability to run anywhere between 2500-4500 throughout the evening.

hey mark!

hope you had a great weekend.

a few questions for the boards on PDiddy, if you would, please:

1) when do PDiddy tickets go on sale through ticketmaster? nothing on their site yet:

2) how much do you anticipate the tickets to cost?

3) what is the seating capacity for the Velvet Room?

thanks so much,
