helps the market being open...

but how does it help shareholders?
sounds like IM has no desire to pursue legal action against infringers (based on this small blurb and his patience to let google just move along).

no wonder the bid is now .0102

Very interesting article! I think it's good news. I find myself wondering two things in particular after reading it:

1. Was this a gentle shot from Neomedia across Google's bow?

2. Is Iain trying to tell shareholders something by mentioning Google by way of Bena?

What do others here think?

That's it, what a tease!

It doesn't sound like any pending buyout, or any other big news is coming down the pike. I know about NDA's, but not even a hint of something bigger on the horizon?

The fact that he apparently was sitting at his desk in Atlanta doesn't thrill me either (if that's where she tracked him down). I was hoping he would be behind closed doors somewhere negotiating a potential merger, or signing a new licensing aggreement, or maybe in a meeting? Even a comment like,"we have some big things in the works that you will be hearing about soon," would have tickled me pink.

It also sounds like Iain is not in the mindset that the patents are a major trump card, "We are ready, eager and available to work with anyone in anytime and under any terms. I wish Google 2D codes amazing success and can’t wait to work with them. The media attention Google commands can only help every player in the market."

I am not one to normally be the debbie downer, but I would rather not have heard anything, than this. This was rather deflating IMO.
