Regardless of what you say, it does take time to build a following.

CORRECT! And the company was doing exactly that PRIOR TO THE ADS.
Post ads there has been zilch. CXAC was adding approximately 2 fans/day 2 weeks ago and now nothing.

You can't put a gun to ppl's heads and tell them to join a fan base

CORRECT YET AGAIN! But at least you can show them the gun, which CXAC hasn't even done that, post ads.

and what good does a million fans do if they haven't bought the product and tried it yet

CHECK OUT THE BIG BRAIN ON VI. 1M fans would mean that those fans actually showed some type of interest. They had to make the effort to become a friend.

If the company would get 1% of those million fans to try the product that would amount to almost $500,000. Now of course it is unlikely that one would get a million Facebook fans but it would definitely get the word out to people and the friends of those.
