Are you absolutely sure there is no sign of life at all like a power light or a momentary flashed message? The reason I ask is that if it is chosen thru it's menus for digital input then even if there is a valid VGA signal it won't show it and the catch-22 is that you can't see anything to change it back! (Can you tell this has happend to me? LOL) Just for haha's try the menu button though. Also if you actually unplug many devices for at least 20 seconds they will magically work again once plugged back it. The power switch is only one aspect of the equation.
