#9861 RE: rayfer22 #9860

rayfer22, Am I defending the company? No. However, when someone starts out a statement with some indication that they have a source that is offering a bit of hope that this will finely have a positive outcome and then offers 5 x's the space to reasons why everyone should doubt that it will...

I guess I just feel that there is no reason for anyone to be here if they don't believe there are more positive reasons than negative reasons. Once you decide that there is more weight to the positive then adjust your attitude and live the moment. Certainly continue to evaluate the balance and if you decide that the negative has won, then why would you stay? Some might say they have lost too much and can't afford to sell. If they believe there is no positive reason to stay, how can they afford not to sell? From time to time we "all" find ourselves complaining about what is or is not going on with Medinah. But some appear to live to share their personal misery with others to the point that it looks like it has become their life’s ambition to offer both small and major jabs into those who have decided that the positives out weigh the negative on this adventure. Is everything that has and has not happened with Medinah been positive? No. Do I believe that JJ will make money on this? Yes, but I also believe he will make me and other shareowners money on it as well. Do I believe that more has been done toward his, and our, success in doing so in the last year than in the ten years before? Yes. Will I blindly follow management looking for my part of the "golden carrot"? No. I will continue to evaluate the positive and the negative and adjust my position with the company as that evaluation determines. If I do find that the negatives out weigh the positive, I will sell and leave and not set around here trying to undermine those positives that the remaining shareholders might continue to find in their investment, as some others here continue to do.
