Squirt...yes they could have purchased the shares on the open market for .08, and therefore the company would NOT have received any funds to go forward....it just goes to traders.
I kind of thought this was obvious.
It is interesting and noteworthy that they paid a premium to market, and also noteworthy is the consistency and ability for the company to raise funds at the same .105 price as was done way back in Feb. 2008....particularly given the economic environ currently.
