And I hate to be one two, but:

i) it would be very difficult for the board to approve a sale with the common getting nothing ... unless the company could not go on existing otherwise, which is now less likely the case;

ii) you are making a BIG mistake in your analysis (obvious from your post), but I will NOT correct you for the time being.

But you seem to be right on otherwise.

co. no in BK...fixed maturity assets were up huge for them...thats why they had over 200 MILLION in profit...thats 800 MILLION P/Y.... I think they,ll have no problem going over 750 million... when they earn that in profit olone... debt markets stable now

Give it up already. If you want in, just buy shares. Believe me, you are not going to see prices as cheap as last week again. If you want to participate in the recovery of this company, then you have to pony up and pick up some shares. Deficit cut in half in one quarter? WOW! Assets over liabilities up by over $200M in one quarter? WOW! Operating profit again? WOW! Buying back debt? WOW! Assets continue to appreciate? WOW! Good luck getting your cheap shares my friend.
