Loop: I read your post on the premium board as to why it would be difficult to take Idcc private. I have one gnawing question:WHO'S going to stop them?The private shareholders aren't going to hire a lawyer. I wouldn't depend on the institutions who would be glad to take a small short term profit if offered it in a private takeover.. The SEC showed their prowess in the Madoff case. A large company like Apple might have the cash and the interest to buy us by fighting the poison pill and the staggered board in a hostile takeover attempt or they might make it worthwhile for management by taking care of them while giving the shareholders short shrift as so often happens. Either way,takeout or buyout, I see problems around the corner for shareholders who think they'll achieve full value from their investment if these kinds of change come.
