and as I stated.....we use soap to make sure we get the crud out from fried foods.....
but they're so well seasoned....soap doesn't make a dent not much different than trying to get the bottom of any other pan clean......hard to get that off even when it isn't cast iron
and new ones were done a few times in the over before using them
then just fry some pork chops, bacon or whatever and you're pretty much good to go
but fried potatoes or foods with cheese take more than just just scrubbing sometimes and had to soak the pan.....but the seasoned surface stayed just fine
