In my experience, which doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot, lawyers are always disrespectful to judges. It's expected. It's part of the game, Part of the drama. The public is sparred much of that hyperbole. These judges end up being regarded as geniuses because they take their time deciding, as they should, and keep their mouth shut.People fill in the blanks if there is no news IMHO
