kpf, the threat is not early volume shipments of the 3.8 Ghz part - that one is for the benchmarks. In terms of actual sales, look at the lower clocked models as the real challenge. I´ve said that before, but a P4 2M with XD, EIST etc. looks much more attractive to me compared to the current mainstream Prescott models.

During its usual second-quarter chipset introduction in 2005, Intel will introduce the other platform technologies it has spoken about during the last several IDFs, Kirby says.
