If you look further down on that post XMDC is not on the list as compensating them for any promotion. So they are promoting XMDC because of the volume and SP increase and recent news.

no promoter has been given any comp to promote the stock...

that list is comprised of notable movers and shakers for the day that gained $$$ thus are on radar....

XMDC is there because of % changes, just like MSFT.
