robjer..man, you guys are really attacking this board now!So now its to question whether or not others won't pay?Nokia is the cartel leader for MENS and samsung already showed how much they trust their leadership!

This is a licensing bz that is in itself litigenous across the whole tech spectrum.As Merritt stated we will learn from these litigations as to how to write better agreements.I'd hope that means more compliance without the need to spend time in court?Other than that Apple could buy us and trap the rest in litigations to sell phones!!

The licenses as far as I know are convenience licenses not a la carte. Merritt just said that they have used diferrent patents in recent negotiations than the ones in the ITC action. Forward earnings are not always good to use because of all the variables in most companies, but Interdigital is about as basic and straight forward as it gets. With fixed fees at 60% or so the forward earnings are a VERY good indicator of where we will be in the next 12 months as far as down side. The real problem with forward earnings for Interdigital right now is being too low.
