Back in the 60's, I had a savings acct. with B of A.

After a rough time between jobs, we had used all but 5 or 7 bucks of our savings,

and then they sent us a letter saying they were going to charge 1 dollar a month for 'maintenance' or some such unless there was some activity in the account each month.

Thinking it was more trouble for them to do that, I let them...but I have never dealt with B of A since. :-)
