re: SEC/DOJ action (???) against new robber barons

Thanks Dr. Hed for your well-formed opinion.

If most observant people believe as you do
(I, observant or not, agree mostly)
then investors, including traders, will
continue to absorb the risk that any particular
law may be voided at will given the political
circumstances. Am I understanding?

I would expect a greater outcry; investors seem
to prefer divesting, today, without protest. The
environment which leaves failed moral compasses
unpunished cannot be challenged?

Maybe it's not possible to find a crime in
the activities of the new robber barons; that
might help explain the silence of investors
with respect to the rule of law.

Perhaps we are premature in our conclusions, and
all the significant crimes of the new robber barons
are going
to be charged, and punished - anyone have comments?

Mother's® Whitefish & Pike in Jelled Broth

Zeev,

I asked for some pickled herring to be delivered to me,
and got someone else's order instead.

Some words on the jar are as follows.
Kosher
Pareve
May be used for Passover.

Don't know what to do with this jar of fish.

There is no expiration date on the jar,
and the fish i can see through the glass jar,
and they look like what i think a fish would look like
if it expired about 1805 :o)

If i was very hungry and had no food,
then yes i would eat this without any hesitation,
and coming from Polish farmers i am quite able,
as in its the normal thing to do as i have eaten
all parts of them animals since they were simply
placed onto the supper table each night.
Brings back fond memories when my father would
chop off the chicken's head and as the cat would
race to grab that fallen head, i would try and catch
that running chicken before it realized it had
no more head and fall down.
ok,
But this Whitefish & Pike in Jelled Broth
i'am just wondering,
as sometimes people do
in reflection of their history
will stop normal eating habits
and take a "taste" of the past
in regards to the Trials & Tribulations of their ancestors
to remember and think about and keep eyes wide open,
i wonder
this Whitefish & Pike in Jelled Broth
is it something that was the only available food,
not too nice to look at or smell or taste,
but it was food?
Guess i'am asking you if i should open the jar
and take a taste, or would i best pass up that opportunity
since i need not this "taste" of history.
thanks
