I noticed a change of attitudes of sorts, deciding to step back, and seeing your' comments, I'd like to extend the compliment of "eloquently spoke", thank you.

I'm long and I know your long too Dean, but don't tell me that you don't see the need to return to the capital markets for funding and then announce a share buyback and sell additional shares into it. You and I would fail if we did business like that. Why do a buyback if your going to offset it with additional sales of shares?

So Dean:

"The company isn't buying back shares to reduce the o/s and make the share price increase for US"

From the Sept 16th PR:

CEO Dean Bradley commented on the share buy-back, "I am very pleased that we can initiate a share buy-back. I do not believe the current price in the market reflects the value I see in the company and its shares. I think it is very good for the company to go in and return shares to the treasury."

So was he lying here? Or was there some other meaning from this.

Let's see the spin.

I am inclined to agree with this as well. Good post. Just trying to take advantage and capitlize of the temporary situation here as well as it obviously seems many shareholders are being impatient. GLTA holding :)

Dean....i cannot agree at all with the idea that QASP is buying back stock so they have it for incentive packages to key personnel....

this is a company that diluted a 39 million float to 147 million in a couple of months....that doesn't seem like a management that is concerned about the share count....

it seems more likely, they would simply issue more stock if employee incentives were the issue...IMO
