Surely this news is playing an integral part of the settlement talks if one has not already been reached. There has to be a ton of pressure on both Neomedia & Scanbuy to wrap things up and move forward for the benefit of the entire industry. Neustar is taking the leadership role to ensure this happens now, before the window of opportunity closes, and Neustar clearly wants Neomedia (and their IP) to play a major role. Essentially, Neustar has become Neomedia's big brother, and they just showed up to end the fight.
There will be a settlement announced shortly to accompany this PR. As of this PR, I believe it's officially "go time" for Neomedia and the industry as a whole. I have no idea how high NEOM's pps will get, but it will never be this low again.
