ScanBuy appears to want to create their own end to end ecosystem and backend clearing house, as indicated in their most recent PR. However, without a NeuStar or/=, I see this as a monumental task. ShopSavvy's relationship to GOOG and creation of an int'l. server farm or backend ecosystem is very probable. However, I would believe that if 1d barcode deciphering requiring 2 servers and the subsequent indirect method, then a licensing agreement by ShopSavvy is inevitable.
