The problem is that no report of a buy is made when the insider receives the options or shares. All of these transactions are no more than a pay check because they represent compensation rather than investment. I finally learned to accept this fact after years of raised blood pressure. My only beef now is when someone tells me that the option/rsu program is designed to align the interests of management and cash investors which I believe qualifies for inclusion in the top 4 lies men tell women.
