John I stand by my story as I was there and heard the whole thing. He did come on and say thas was no drilling report. Then someone else took the mike and talked for a few minutes.
When he came back on thats when he went into his joke. You or no oner else can excuse his unprofessional behavior. The guy is just out of his element. He needs to be sitting around a camp fire talking to the miners. Then he can tell all the jokes he wants! Do you remember that scene from blazing saddles? That about sums it up.
If it was like you said it was why are so many pissed about it? Their is no excuse!

Why did he have a melt down??? Cause he started a riot and then got defensive and then called shareholders names and insulted them. Don't take up for him!

john-69: Thanks for the reality check! We've got to get the Melvin-bashing out of here. Management is either reading this and a) deciding not to do anything about it, or b) doing something about it, but haven't acted yet: or they haven't read the boards, in which case all the moaning and bi*ching just serves to bring the rest of the board down. Enough already!

(P.S. I've had my say several times about this, and this is the last time I'll post about it. If these posts keep showing up I'll simply watch my e-mail for PRs and save myself the grief of visiting here.) I know that will make some folks happy - LOL.
