I noticed this on the TECO board:

"We signed a one-year agreement with Mr. Newton, compensating him at $250,000 per year which is all payable in common stock of the Company"

Just because it says he "acquired" it on the form 4 doesn't necessarily mean he paid for it. Just a thought...
