All depth's I have seen posted by other companies have been from the rotary table on the ship.

IMO, they are drill 11,600' below SEA LEVEL.

Go to the KINA picture in the IBOX and click on it so that it is enlarged. You will see depth readings on the left col. that shows the mudline at just over 2600 meters and the total depth of the drill going to 5000 meters (16,400 ft)so the total depth of the drilled well is the total depth minus the depth of the sea above it. Thus, KINA is drilling about 7-8,000 ft.
