Then that's great we have someone here with your investment knowledge and experience. I realize that no one ever made money panicking or worrying, but I'm sure you also have learned that no one keeps their earnings by getting into overly risky investments either. I'm just trying to weigh the good vs. bad. Obviously I have a small position in URST, and have been in the stock since December of last year. I remember when I was the only one on this board talking about URST...couldn't get anyone else to say a word because no one was in it!

I think the potential is there, and I definitely do not think it is a penny scam like many others. The company appears to be real enough, and the presentation along with new board members are a considerable confirmation as to how serious the company is. My concern is over vanadium itself; like I posted, the USGS report from 2001 stated that there was enough vanadium at then-current levels to feed demand for several hundred years. That is no small issue. Of course, India, China, and other developing countries are going to use a lot of steel over the next 20 years, which could help negate that concern. Also, if the deposit is what they hope it is, then it could make it much cheaper to extract and therefore reduce the cost of steel.

The batteries that use vanadium are largely still prototypical in nature, and not in wide use. It will take quite some time for them do be in full demand. So, until then we have the steel industry to look forward to.

Like I said, I'm all about making money; that is my goal for being here. My plan is to retire in 10-15 years and live in Belize, possible typing on message boards like this one from my beach hut...
