So if I understand this correctly, these brokers will be taking a "Sponge Bath"! They should make a commemorative sponge for these brokers!!

So theoretically what happens if one tries to hold their "air shares". Would your broker be forced to liquidate at fair market value? TIA

"MOST of the shares in your account MUST be bought by them and then evaporated back to the thin air from which they evolved. MOST of us will likely never see Nasdaq as a very large majority of our collective shares will no longer exist.

At the end of the day, upon CUSIP change, there will only be as many shares in the float as are legally allowed. Those with real certificates behind them."

Hi SDBob09, Sorry but can you please elaborate on what you mean by these statements?

Are you saying that some of us will not see the NASDAQ because our shares will not be valid?
I have called TDAmeritrade about my shares and they have assured me that I own the number of shares that are presently in my account.
Maybe I misunderstood you, but I don't understand why you're saying that peoples shares will just dissappear, the shorts will have to cover, and the shares will be accounted for, will they not?
Anyone else have an opinion or some facts on this?
thanks -d
