Klaus diagnosed that as my problem. When I turned on my Terminator after returning from a short trip during which I had unplugged it from the wall socket, it stopped at the first screen and said

"CMOS Checksum error - Defaults loaded. Press F1 to continue or DEL to enter Setup". I pushed F1 and it booted ok but each time I boot I have to reenter the Date and time which has gone back to the default.

Klaus thinks it is the CMOS battery. Do you concur?
