FORT WAYNE, IN -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/09 -- Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MIKP)

CEO/President Mark B. Newbauer is pleased with the company's Concert Division and its first event, their Back to School Summer Send-Off at Parkview Field held Saturday at Fort Wayne, Indiana's Parkview Field; so much so, that the company has decided to brand the event as an annual show which may develop into a festival tour as early as 2010, featuring hot acts that appeal to tweens, teens and early twentysomethings as it plans shows ranging in format for other brands-to-be.

"Overall the event was a big success for Mike the Pike Productions and its shareholders," states Newbauer. "Given the fact that our Headliner (Good Charlotte) cancelled at the last minute, we still put on a great show with Cobra Starship at the helm with a set destined for a stadium and Metro Station setting the tone with thousands of teens on the field screaming for more. We've already secured repeat sponsors for our next show and we fared well on the merchandising and beverage front in terms of revenues, despite the fact that there were several Good Charlotte fans who were, understandably disappointed, at the last minute cancellation. As for that, between the untimely death of Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) and Nicole Richie's nearing due date, the cancellation could have been chalked up to anything; either way, we keep them in our prayers and look forward to working with them again down the road."

Parkview Field was also excited to host the event and looks forward to working with Mike the Pike Productions again. Mike Nutter, General Manager for the Field states, "The Summer Send-Off was a great event to host at Parkview Field... we look forward to many future events with Mike The Pike Productions at Parkview Field. They were able to book top-notch talent for their first event and we look forward to watching this company grow... "

And grow the company will... The Concert/Events division is already planning their second and third shows with availability checks and offers out to A-list talent. The upcoming shows include a proposed University tour with multiple acts. The team travels to Orlando, Florida next week to scout a potential venue for another. On the film front, MTP received a FedEx yesterday with the much anticipated Literary Option Agreement, signed, and will announce details in a future release.
