That's good, sounds like you got it. You need to have Avast running all the time or else your computer is not protected. That may be how you picked up the flea to begin with if you didn't have it running.
I'm not real familiar with Avast so I don't know if it has a firewall or not, if it doesn't turn on your Windows firewall also.
There are LOTS of creeps out there trying to invade peoples systems!!!
