I doubt nothing at all.

Edig is probably losing money on these deals so it is good they are getting out of this venture as well. IFE is losing it's hype appeal already. Set top boxes, TTV, VTT, secure encoded music, Infotainment, embeding blahh blahh blahh.. I guess the next pump platform is the Personal Media Player or some similiarly stupid sounding acronym.

Thanks
Admitting all of your DD, but a job post for a non-manager position, is based on message board posters helps put your thoughts into perspective.

That with your posting history makes it a total waste of bytes.

imho

This is the golden egg baby and the goose is gonna get paid. Watch the volume and pps as time goes on. The pps will not be at this level for long. watch and learn as the revenues flow so will the pps. This is the time for you to bite the big one and buy a truck load of edig. Just do it and thank me later.

Caution about today's APS PR...

I believe it provides even more evidence to back up my premise that Wencor will be taking over the role of ordering the digeplayers from the manufacturer instead of e.Digital and that revenue for future orders will be small licensing fees at best.

Reasoning:

Today's PR does NOT include the following statement made in the most recent APS PRs (on 5/18/04 and 5/27/04):

"e.Digital expects to realize several million dollars in revenue through APS’ digEPlayer product sales to airlines and other companies serving the travel and leisure industry, as well as refurbishment fees and other services provided to APS."

This in addition to previously posted information - (RP's e-mail to flattire, the Wencor PR and recruitment advertisement for a sales manager to oversee a sales team for all of APS's products) - this leads me to stronger confidence that my premise is indeed correct.

All this PR says is that Ryanair has ordered some digeplayers from APS and that is an "endorsement" of their personal video platform.

As I said yesterday, I still believe they will be able to recognize revenue for the 3300 players they said were booked last Q, but I believe the evidence increasingly shows that the partnership with Wencor has cut e.Digital out of the gross revenue for the manufacturing costs.

Time will surely tell. Unfortunately, given e.Digital's refusal to update prior "forward-looking" statements, shareholders will probably have to wait unti the 10Q for QE 12/31/04 is released in mid 2/05.

FWIW, I believe most of today's activity is from momos playing on an improved chart combined with a PR. Note the pop and retract.

BTW, why no PR about or mention of e.Digital's participation at WAEA? Is FF or anyone else there?
