Wencor/APS...

Looks like there is some credence to the concept that Wencor may be taking over e.Digital's role as the middleman between APS and the manufacturer. Indeed, it apparently has a much greater role given the following recruitment ad from Wencor which also mentions training of an outside sales team for APS. (posted by parker on agora).

Job Description

This position is located in either Springville, Utah or Atlanta, Georgia.

Manages all aspects of Aircraft Protective Systems (APS) product sales for Wencor, including working closely with APS marketing and Wencor outside sales to make presentations, prepare proposals and negotiate unique contracts to aggressively gain market share for this innovative product.

Essential Duties

Takes the lead at Wencor for all APS products.
Coordinates with the sales and marketing team at APS.
Trains Wencor outside sales in APS products.
Coordinates customer joint visits with APS and Wencor sales.
Identifies key customer contracts, the initial presentation and all steps including closing the deal for all customers assigned by APS to Wencor.
Understands the market, customers, and competitors in assuring APS products are competitive in all aspects including pricing.
Works with APS in further defining Wencor's role as a distribution, logistics and marketing partner.
Supports Wencor sales representatives with proposals, technical documentation, and customer contracts.
Coordinates with APS in developing and designing marketing plans including financial models, advertising, literature, press releases etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering with a minimum of three years aircraft industry experience.
Ability to travel initially up to 50% of the time. (Domestic and some International)
Proven ability to identify key contacts at customers, make presentations, negotiate contracts and develop long term new business commitments.
Seasoned airline industry aftermarket professional is preferred.

FWIW, I believe that e.Digital should still be able to recognize revenue for the 3300 digeplayers they have already announced (most or all) in the current Q. However, that could be the end of manufacturing revenues, leaving only a small licensing fee per unit or nothing at all.
