Your post proves my point. The Nok license is not a no royalty license at all. Nok paid 31.5 mil, received a 3 year concessionary period to coincide with the 58.5 mil TDD joint development agreement and was granted a MFL clause. It was Ericy that blatantly infringed without any development agreements. It was Ericy that many posters on this board believed would license for 3g and remains unsigned. It was Ericy that managed to produce and sell 2g products for an enormous amount of money for a total of just over 100 mil royalty through 2006. Nok is no saint, but compared to Ericy, they may get the "good" thief role in this play. Suddenly Ericy is a company with integrity and Nok is a sorry SOB. This may be the case in the eyes of us shareholders and IDCC, but it may not float with 3 neutral arbiters. One man's reality may be another man's fiction under complicated fact situations and we need to hold off on conclusions of reality until the arbitration decision which will define the reality for all of us.
