"At the time the South Korean currency was still pegged to the US dollar. It stayed so until December 24, 1997, when it became a floating currency, but was then immediately devalued at nearly half of its value because of the East Asian financial crisis."


I doubt the dollar would ever be "immediately devalued at nearly half of its value" no matter what happens. Ever.


I don't normally bash my own stock as the market is tough enough without somebody creating irrational panic on a message board, but this board is barely used vs. the volume so what the hey....
