That symbol could have been there simply as a result of someone using the code for putting a quote feature on the website. Could have easily used a code that happened to be quoting Exxon at the time they copied the code.
Almost nil the chance that it had anything to do with EVFL although the thought would be great. That bit of speculation got started just like so many other wild guesses on this board, completely out of the blue sky with no real basis.
