Algae: Wrong. Management got rid of the SEDA and gave YA convertible preferred instead. In return they got a bunch of money to run around acquiring a bunch of companies in 2006. This was a completely dicretionary strategy (they did not need the money); the money was used to try an create a "mobile market supercompany."
Well, it backfired.
All but one (Gavitec) of the acquisitions had to be undone, at a substantial loss to Neomedia (and its shareholders). Some of the acquired companies even accused Neomedia's management of being less than truthful in the negotiations.
Some of us were there watching each and every painful minute of it.
If Martin "I-can't-add" Copus (and others) had not set Neomedia on that fool's errand, this stock would likely still be above .05.
