So you think they are lieing when they say they are going for 11,600 below seabed??? What is your basis for the 5000 ft comment?

Is that deep enough? Is not "subsea" the mudline?

lsm, you addressed this "To all". I consider myself to be a part of that group, so I'd like to ask you...

You say they aren't drilling deep enough to prove/disprove traps. That doesn't make sense to me. The mud logs will show hydrocarbons (good) or not (bad). What are you basing those comments on?

It looks like you are suggesting that these companies forking out $60 MILLION per well are screwing up. Since I don't know you and this is an anonymous message board, I'd like to learn more about you credentials.

At this point I've got "anonymous message board guy" on one hand against "companies laying out $60 mil per well" on the other.

I'll admit, I'm leaning toward them for now.
