Donshubs2: swine flu vaccine and GBS

Good find, Donshubs2. I love the Daily Mail. This caught my eye, re the lady who contracted GBS, Mrs. Wilkinson:

"After three weeks, she was transferred to a neurological ward, where she had an MRI scan and nerve tests to assess the extent of the damage."

In the U.S., they would have shoved her into an MRI machine the day she entered hospital. Britain's National Health Service is okay for what it is, but it is far inferior to the U.S. health care system. If an uninsured person came into a U.S. hopsital with Mrs. Wilkinson's symptoms, he or she would have gotten an MRI right away. At least in a major city. Rural areas are another matter.
